Knife creates deals role

Knife Capital has bolstered its investment team with the appointment of Ayanda Siphosethu Bolani as investment analyst – in a newly created role.

Bolani has been brought in to focus on deal sourcing and execution, reporting to to Andrea Böhmert, co-managing partner at Knife.

She joins Knife Capital from Value Capital Partners, a South Africa-based investment firm, where she was investment analyst for less than a year in 2023.

Bolani’s previous roles include a stint at Futuregrowth Asset Management, where she private equity and venture capital analyst in the three years to 2023.

Knife Capital’s recent deals include acquiring an undisclosed stake in d6 Group, a South Africa-based technology company focused on the education space, in 2021.

Earlier in the year, the investor also signed a deal to exit its stake in WizzPass, a South Africa-based technology services provider.
